My first Sweet Pea harvest of the season and perfect timing for the gorgeous wedding of Rachel & Anna this weekend.
Very proud to have grown these myself – locally, without pesticides, feeds or anything else yukky. However, something brown & buzzing didn’t like me picking these and decided to give me a few bites! Worth the pain!
Three floral bouquets of Sweet Peas for The Brides and Bridesmaid – the darkest purples, the duskiest pinks with creams and our lucky dip of pale purples with reds and white, hand-tied with a simple twine wrap. Their scent is absolutely intoxicating – so many comments as I carried them down the street.
Wishing you all the very best for the future! Enjoy! x
As you may or may-not know – I have been given an exciting opportunity to work with the amazing ‘Wild at Heart’ as Head Gardener at Bicester Village!!!!
This means that I’m now fully booked for 2017 for weddings. Please message me should you have any queries or funeral requests and I’ll see what I can do.
All my pre-booked weddings will be completed as promised.

A rustic, pastel spring wedding made with Hyacinthoides hispanica, Rosa ‘Taiga’, Rosa ‘Avalanche’, Rosa ‘Sweet Avalanche’, Carnation ‘Fuente’ & Gypsophila ‘Million Stars’
An intimate Pascua/Easter wedding for Isabella & Aaron.
Embracing the season with these gorgeous Bluebell, Muscari and Hellebore buttonholes for a spring wedding for two lovely ladies in Oxfordshire. I love the marriage of that lilac & blue against the vibrant green of the Hellebores, softened with the fuzzy grey foliage of the ‘Snow-in-Summer’ (Cerastium tomentosum). Then simply tied with a thin piece of raffia.
Lynn & John’s Wedding took place on St. Patrick’s Day 2017 – Obviously it had to be green!
Her bouquet is made of Helleborus ‘foetidus’, Euphorbia ‘amygdaloides’, White Forsythia (Abeliophyllum), Malus Apple Blossom, Viburnum ‘tinus’, Salix ‘babylonica’ together with a few Narcissus ‘Bridal Crown’ & brought together using Chrysanthemum x morifolium ‘Kermit’.
John’s buttonhole is made using the same flowers with the stems left open.
John’s Mother’s Wrist Corsage has similar flowers but I’ve added some Prunus ‘laurocerasus’ blossom, tied with lace to fasten to the wrist.
This weekend is all about those gorgeous spring bulbs and blossom. Beautiful Muscari & Hyacinthus with Prunus blossom and Helleborus. Fresh and colourful, welcoming spring 2017.
I’ve mocked up the table arrangements… Wood logs covered in lichen (Cetraria glauca), each supporting Hyacinthus pips on wires.
